July 19, 2022

Top 5 Black Truck Wheels Available Now

When it comes to truck wheels, black is still the new black - it's one of the most popular finish options you can buy for your setup, and that's for good reason. Black wheels can give you the sleek, bold, confident look you've been craving for your truck all in one piece, and today we want to help you on your search by showing you the five best truck wheels available in Black that you can buy now.

Before we get started, we'll say that this list includes only straight-black wheels - many black wheel options today have some kind of milled option, but we want to show you the best wheels that are only black with nothing else on them. With that in mind, let's jump right in with number one.

Cali Offroad Rawkon wheel on 2019 RAM 1500

Features and Specs of the Cali Offroad Rawkon 9109

Starting with number five, the first wheel on our list is the Cali Offroad Rawkon 9109, which is one of our favorites. It's got a bit of a busy spoke pattern, but we like it, especially the way that it ties some style in from the car world - you'll hear us say that a lot when we talk about new truck wheels, because the truck world is changing a bit to show some of what the car scene has and blending in some off-road styles too.

The Rawkon is available in a ton of different sizes and finish options too, but in the all-black, it's very clean, as the simple finish mixed with the busy design works really well. For a set of four, you're looking at about $1500 to get it shipped to your door, as long as you're in the lower 48.

Black Hostile Fury wheels on 2022 Jeep Gladiator Sport S

Features and Specs of the Hostile Fury H114

Number four on the list is the Hostile Fury H114 - Hostile actually has two spots on our list, but we'll start with the Fury. This is a multi-spoke wheel that almost looks like it has two separate, overlaying spoke designs - one that tips forward and one that tips back. It's a really busy wheel again, but with the all-black finish, it looks nice on any truck build.

With the plain black finish, the Fury is a simple, clean wheel that still has quite a few design elements going on, which is why we like it so much. Plus, it's from Hostile, and since they're such a big name in the truck wheel market, you can trust that the finish quality will be amazing.

When it comes to price on the Hostile Fury, you'll be looking at around $1700 for a set of four. However, if you package new tires to go along with your Hostile wheels, you can save up to $500 - we'll mount, balance, and ship them to you for free so they're all ready to go when they get to your door.

Motiv Offfroad Magnus wheels on 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty

Features and Specs of the Motiv Offroad Magnus 423B

Number 3 on the list is from a company you might not have heard of before. This is the Motiv Offroad 423B - since its initial release it's gained popularity super quickly, and part of the reason for that is because, in a 20x12 size, you can get these things for less than $800 for a set of four, which is cool to see from the brand and a price that can fit any budget.

The Magnus 423B has an interesting center cap design, as there's a covered cap and scorpion in the logo, and overall it's just a clean, traditional split-spoke wheel. The Magnus does have some concavity to it as well, so in action, it acts like a hybrid wheel that has some lip and concavity to go around. It doesn't have any rivets around the lip (which we like) but it does have the Motiv Offroad script stamped in along the rim of the wheel. Motiv might not be a brand you've heard of, but it's worth it to give this wheel a shot for your build.

Hardrock Crusher wheels on 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Features and Specs of the Hardrock Crusher H704

Number 2 on our list is the Hardrock Crusher. This is a wheel that you've probably seen before, and you might be thinking "That's not what that wheel's called," because it used to be called the DWG DW13. DWG changed its name to Hardrock Offroad, so now we've got the Crusher. The only thing that changed is the simple center cap that doesn't scream any sort of brand name in your face, which is a design element that started back in the DWG days. Only looking at the star, you're not sure whose wheels these are.

This wheel will be something that looks very directional, taking what the forged wheel market does and bringing it to the cast wheel - however, they are not true directional or proper directional wheels. This means that one side will always be digging and one side will always be swooping forward - just keep that in mind when you're looking for a set of these.

The Hardrock Crusher has another multi-spoke design that has a ton of spokes angled to swoosh one way or the other depending on which side of the truck you put them on. As far as the pricing goes on these, the Crusher is yet another affordable package option. It's less than $900 for a set of 20x12s, and there are plenty of finish and bolt pattern options for you on our site if you need something to fit a different truck, or if the black just isn't doing it for you.

Black Hostile Jigsaw wheels on 2021 GMC Sierra 1500

Features and Specs of the Hostile Jigsaw H116

Number one on the list is the Hostile Jigsaw, and overall, it's a very good-looking wheel, which is something we've come to expect from Hostile. This one was first released as a forged wheel and was so popular in the forged series that Hostile knew they needed to make a cast model as well, to drive the price down and make this set more affordable for anyone.

In terms of the design, the Hostile Jigsaw brings a split-spoke design to this directional-looking wheel - again, though, this is a cast wheel, and most cast wheel manufacturers don't make them true directional. So that means that, once again, you'll be digging on one side and swooping on the other side.

The pricing for a set of Jigsaw wheels is a little higher because Hostile is one of the more elite wheel brands, and for a set of four, you're looking at about $1700. Again, it's the same story as before - you can save up to $500 when you package your Hostile wheels with new tires.
