Top 5 Directional Cast Wheels

June 3, 2019

When it comes to cast, proper directional or true directional wheels, the options are limited. There are only a few brands that make this type of wheel due to the complexity of having proper or true directional wheels. Since there are two different part numbers, one for the left side of your vehicle and one of the right, this means there’s double the inventory, which means double the capital up front. This can be a large investment for a new wheel company, which is why we don't see a lot of companies doing this style of wheel. But there are also companies that make directional style wheels that aren’t proper or true directional, you’ll have one side digging and one side swooping instead of both sides of the truck facing the same direction.

Here are the top 5 cast directional wheels in no particular order.

ARKON Alexander

The ARKON Alexander is a proper directional wheel with a multi-spoke design. The spokes all hook in one direction, which is what gives this wheel its directional feel. The spokes also feature milling which extends to the barrel adding some complexity and character. This wheel's design is a clean, show truck style. The Alexander is only offered in one finish, which is Black Milled. Check out trucks running the Alexander in our Gallery here.

The outer ring of the wheel is removable, along as the cap, this allows the wheel to be customized to match your truck.
