Custom Offsets at FP 5.0: The Rowdiest Show in the Country

April 3, 2026

Black and gold Dodge pickup truck parked at FP 5.0 in Jamestown, TN

Way More Than Just a Truck Show

There’s no gradual adjustment to FP 5.0, it’s just diving straight into the deep end. Jamestown, TN turns into an absolute pressure cooker the moment the first trucks hit the lights and fire up their engines, and doesn’t let up for two straight days. You can hear rev limiters echoing through the hills, with exhaust smoke so thick it feels like it blocks out the sun, and the only sounds you can hear are engines revving and tires getting destroyed.

FP isn’t just loud though, it’s relentless. We’re talking trucks going all out from sun-up until long after it’s gone down, and a relentless crowd that’s loving every moment of it. Blink and you might miss something. But if you’re tough enough to stick around for the whole event, you realize that this is more than just a rowdy truck show, it’s an immersive experience that has to be seen in order to be believed.

Something’s Happening Every Second

What helps set FP 5.0 apart from other truck shows is that there’s no downtime, there’s no lull between events. Look around in any direction, and there’s something constantly going on. You’ll hear engines revving from one end and the deafening of a high-pitched burnout from another. No matter what’s going on, you can feel the energy of the place and how locked in the crowd is. Nothing waits its turn or takes a break, and everything exists in this electric state of chaos all at once, without becoming too overwhelming. It’s a kind of atmosphere that’s hard to understand until you’re right in the middle of it, and then it becomes perfectly clear.

Everything, Everywhere, All At Once

At first glance, Jamestown, TN doesn’t seem like the kind of town that’s built to host an event like FP 5.0, but that’s exactly why it’s perfect for it. For two days, it gets completely swallowed up by trucks, trailers, smoke, and noise until you can’t really tell where you are anymore. The streets fill in, lots overflow, and any patch of open ground turns into something, whether that’s parking, staging, spectating, or just pure chaos. We’re talking fender-to-fender, shoulder-to-shoulder space, and the air is filled with the sound and smell of engines running, with people posting up anywhere they can fit.

What fills the rest of the space of FP 5.0 is how this show really separates itself. You’ll find show trucks, sitting spotless under the sun. Paint job dialed in, perfect fitment, and every detail seems intentional, and not even a few feet away, you’ll see a burnout truck is on limiter, with tires coming apart in real time. Here, the burnout pit never really cools off, they just rotate the next truck in once the last one is done. You won’t find any divide between polished and reckless, built or beaten. There’s no separation between any of it. The same trucks that you stare at as you walk past are the same ones lining up to get beat on, and nothing about FP feels staged or boxed off. All of it just bleeds together, from builds, to events, to the people themselves. It’s all happening at the same time, whether you’re ready for it or not.

What really sticks with you at FP 5.0 isn’t just everything that’s happening around you, it’s who’s there for it. This isn’t just an event for spectators to enjoy, it’s been built up by the people in it. Owners, builders, drivers, everyone’s right there, with no distance between the trucks and the crowds, which is exactly where we found ourselves all weekend. The Custom Offsets booth stayed busy, talking setups, breaking down builds, and hearing what people are actually running and why. No fluff or show-only talk, just real trucks and the people behind the wheel of them, which is what really matters most.

Nothing Else Comes Close

FP 5.0 isn’t the kind of event that wraps up cleanly when it’s over. It lingers on, through the noise, the smell of burnt rubber, and the feeling that you just watched something that doesn’t exist anywhere else. It’s not polished or predictable, and definitely isn’t something for everyone, which is why it’s so special. For two days, Jamestown becomes something different, louder, and a little bit out of control in all the right ways, which is why it was such an incredible time for the Custom Offsets team to experience. We came in knowing what it could be, and left knowing there’s nothing else like it. And the best part? They’re doing it all over again.
