So you own an 04-08 Ford F150 and it's finally time to put some wheels and tires on it!
But how do you know what's going to fit?
You could spend a few hours browsing forums to find fitment specs.
You could stick around and take a look at our very simple guide where we show you exactly what is going to fit!
We're going to talk about what fits an F150 with a leveling kit, a 4 inch lift kit, and a 6 inch lift kit!
1. Leveling Kit
If your F150 currently has a leveling kit installed, then you should be able to fit a 9 wide wheel with a 33x11 tire (285/65 or 275/70).
2. 4 Inch Suspension Lift
This lift is less common than the 6 inch lift kit because they're essentially the same price and bigger is almost always better.
Nevertheless, you can fit a 10 wide with a 35x12.5 tire with a 4 inch lift kit.
This will require a little plastic trimming but very minor. With more modification, you could run a bigger setup.
3. 6 Inch Suspension Lift
For the more popular 6 inch lift, you can run 12 wide wheels with 35's.
This seems to be the ideal setup for these F150s and a lot of people use these sizes on their trucks.
This will require some minor plastic trimming as well but not much. If you have the factory fender flares, there may be more trimming required.
We hope this helped you decide what wheel and tire setup you want for your 04-08 Ford F150.
