1. The Design

Gladiator XComp MT

Starting with the looks and design of the Gladiator XComp MT, this thing looks absolutely menacing. This could be one of the coolest looking tires to come out in a while. The tread pattern is extremely angled and jagged with huge tread blocks, typical for a mud tire. The center of the tread isn't what makes this tire so aggressive, however. The real aggression comes from the shoulder blocks and sidewall. This tire looks like it can tear through anything. the shoulder lugs are jagged and flow perfectly into the angular sidewall design. You'll be hard-pressed to find a more aggressive-looking mud tire than this!

2. Performance

With any mud tire, don't expect this one to be the quietest or most comfortable going down the road. However, if you're looking to tear through the mud and rough stuff and want to look good doing it, you're in the right place. The Gladiator XComp MT is made from a cut-resistant compound and has 3 ply construction with reinforced shoulders. This allows the XComp MT to hold its own against jagged rocks and other dangerous obstacles. This tire is also known for being relatively long-lasting when compared to its competitors. One thing to note is that the XComp MT doesn't have a whole lot of siping so winter performance may not be as great as some of the other mud tires out there.

3. Verdict

Overall, the Gladiator XComp MT offers a ton of performance and fantastic looks for the money. We absolutely love the way this thing looks and with a long tread life and great all-terrain performance, we have a hard time finding anything bad to really say about it. It's easy to see why the XComp MT's popularity has grown so quickly over the past few months.
