Why Are People So Against it?

This is where it gets fuzzy. People get really heated about lifting a 2WD truck and say you definitely should not lift it. There are a few reasons for this. The hate ultimately stems from people being upset that people buy 2WD trucks, calling them “cheap” etc.

When you lift a truck, a lot of times it is to increase performance, specifically off-road. Well obviously as far as function goes, in mud and inclement weather/ terrain having a 4WD truck is more beneficial. So many don’t see the point in lifting a 2WD truck when you aren’t equipped to be going hardcore off-roading anyway.
