What Are Forged Wheels?

Forged wheels are made using a billet. This billet is heated up to incredibly high heads and pressurized to take the shape of the wheel. This process costs a lot of money, making the wheels cost more. By doing this forging process you will eliminate cavities, porosity, and shrinkage creating a more perfect wheel.

Forged Wheels

This also ensures a longer-lasting, and stronger wheel. Forged wheels are definitely the more elite option, and people recognize that you are a big baller when you roll up to a show with big forged wheels.

What Are Cast Wheels?

Cast wheels are created when aluminum is heated up until it becomes molten. Once it is liquid, it is poured into the mold that is in the shape of the wheel. Once it sets it is shaved down to clean it up and perfect it as much as possible. This process is much faster and cheaper than the forging process, making cast wheels a cheaper alternative to forged wheels.

Cast Wheels

There are tons of different alloys to choose from when it comes to casting and there are no weight limits when casting either. They will not be as durable or long-lasting as a forged wheel but can still hold their own very well.
