    About The Fuel Hostage

Fuel Wheels, or Fuel Off-road Wheels, have quickly established themselves as one of the heavy hitters in the ever growing aftermarket wheel industry by consistently putting out new models every year. They have built up a massive lineup of one piece wheels, two piece wheels, forged wheels, custom wheels, and just about any other style on the market today. The Hostage has a classic feel that has been updated for modern car enthusiasts which is why it has been one of their most popular models for many years.

What Makes the Fuel Hostage So Good?

The Fuel Hostage is an eight spoke design featuring a beveled window cutout in each one that mimics the look of a split spoke but stays connected while reaching the edge of the design. This is connected to the edge of the face with a large decorative bolt flourish to bring some more detail to this design.

What Makes the Fuel Hostage Special?

The Fuel Hostage is built to last and take on whatever abuse gets thrown at it both on and off the road. This model is a part of the one piece series and is cast from a single mold to form a solid one piece wheel. Each Hostage is crafted from top-quality aluminum alloy and optimized for maximum durability on harsh terrain.

What Sizes Does the Fuel Hostage Come In?

This model is made in sizes starting at 17 inches and going as large as 22 inches in diameter with wheel widths ranging from 8.5-14 inches wide.

This model is available in finishes including Matte Black, Chrome, and Gloss Black and they're drilled for various 5, 6, & 8 lug bolt patterns.

    Fuel Hostage Key Features

    • Eight spoke design featuring beveled window cutout spokes
    • Top quality aluminum alloy one piece wheel
    • Built trail tough durability but also engineered for daily driving
    • Decorative bolts at edge of face and rivets on lip edge for added style
    • Large Fuel Center Cap

Fuel Hostage wheels are the embodiment of Fuel Off-road with good looks, better prices, and a range of fitments making it perfect for any wheel and tire package. The Hostage won't let you down as a daily driver or on the trail with its cutting edge design.

About The Toyo Tires Open Country A/T III

    Who Is Toyo Tires?

Toyo Tires' story starts back in 1966 when they got their start in Japan but always churning out top-tier tires for the whole world. As they grew, they expanded into the United States where they now have a factory in Georgia and are based in California.

What Makes the Open Country AT III So Special?

The Toyo Open Country AT III is an all-terrain tire meaning it's suitable for daily driving as well as some mild off-roading here and there. However, when you look at the AT III, this is very aggressive for an all-terrain so if you're going for a sharp look, on top of all of that, this is a fire option.

The tread pattern doesn't have a ton of space between tread blocks, making for a nice, comfortable, and quiet ride. The design also features lots of siping, so when you drive in wet or snowy conditions you will grip much better.

What Sizes Does The Toyo Open Country AT III Come In?

The Toyo Open Country AT III has a ton of tire sizes to fit a wide variety of applications. Sizing starts at a 30" and goes all the way to 37" in height and widths from 9.5" to 13.5" so you can see there is a wide spectrum here. Not sure what will fit? Check out our gallery to see what others are running or build your own aftermarket wheel and tire package to find the right size tires to fit your truck build.

How Much Does The Toyo Open Country AT III Cost?

Pricing for the Toyo Open Country AT III starts at just over $600 and ranges to just under $2000 all depending on the size of course. So there is an option for almost any budget.

Some great features of the Toyo Open Country AT III:

    • Advanced Tread Compound to prevent cuts and chipping
    • Evenly distributed voids are for increased rigidity and off-road traction
    • Large amount of lateral grooves to improve traction in sand, mud, and snow
    • Staggered Shoulder Lugs with biting edges to tackle tough terrain

Tires have the look you want in an aggressive tire, but still provide the ride you would expect from such an expensive tire. Finally something that is actually worth the money.

No rub with a 3 inches lift.

I paired a set of these with some Fuel Coverts (left a review on that product too), and my truck went from good looking to head turning. I was actually going to buy a different set of tires but the customer service rep convinced me to go with these, citing the fact that they run Toyos on everything they own. These folks have a passion for what they do, and I didn’t want that to go unnoticed

A great running tire. Absolutely aggressive enough. Just remember that this is a small 35"x12.5R20 tire, compared to some 35" tires. Every tire has their own "true size", and this tire is just on the smaller side. I went from a 35"x12.5"R20 NITTO Ridge Grappler, and those are much wider & taller than these. I would probably have gone with a metric size up, if In had known just how much smaller they would be. Still a great tire. These are much better in the rain. My Ridge Grapplers were HORRIBLE in the rain.

They don't stand up to gravel at all. Had the AT2s in the past and they did great with gravel. I have 20k miles on mine and they are trashed, with no edges on any of the tread blocks. If you do all highway you'll be fine. They are great on snow and ice and clean out good in mud. Just cant handle gravel

Tires look amazing and drive well on the road. I had an issue after only 10 miles on the tire. While in the store my front drivers side blew out on the inside sidewall. Tire was defected. Custom Offsets handled as best they could. I also reached out to Toyo and they had me go to local shop. When I got there I handed the phone to the salesman and they handled everything including inspecting the other tires.

Definitely worth the money for this tire, I've driven 7,000 miles so far on them and have no complaints. I've taken my truck down poorly maintained dirt roads with over 6 inches of snow and not even once was there a point where I didn't have traction. Also has minimal road noise and can comfortably ride over 80 mph.
