11TH ANNUAL TEXAS NISSAN TRUCK MEET!!!

THE DATES: Friday March 22 through Sunday March 24, 2019.
LOCATION: 3790 Cedar Ridge Park Rd, Temple, TX 76502. Cedar Ridge Park—Turkey Roost and Sunset (group camping area) just outside of Temple, TX.
REGISTRATION DUE: March 8th
******Camping spots open JAN 2, 2019******
AMENITIES: There are 10 RV camper spots (6 regular back in spots and 2 double back in spots) and 20 tent camping spots in this group area. The RV camper spots have water and electric and the dump station in the park. We will have our own bath and shower house separate from the regular camping area along with a 32 x 50 pavilion that also has water and electric We will also have the day use pavilion (sunset day use) on the other side of the road from the camp grounds (this is where we will eat all meals and activities will be held). These group areas are only 200 yards from the lake.
COST: The RV camper spots are going to be $65.00 for the weekend and the tent spots will be $55.00 for the weekend and this will include a T-shirt. For those that will only be there on Saturday for the events, there is a participation fee of $35 (this fee does include a T-shirt and food). You must pay before your name will be put on the list. Fees are nonrefundable. Contact us though the facebook page to get more info n how to pay. *****When paying please include your NAME, T-SHIRT SIZE, and TYPE OF TRUCK that you drive, HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE ATTENDING in the notes. **** The Registration fee will come with 1 shirt. If you want additional ones it will be $15 each. ****Registration is for 2 people. If any other people come and under 10 years old they are free. If over 10 years old it will $10 per person (for food). ******** If you have to back out after paying, feel free to sell your spot to someone else. Just let me know who you sold it to so I can change my roster sheet.
If we happen to fill up, you can get a camping spot outside of the Turkey Roost area, but still in the same park. If you decide to do this, then do it soon because the camping spots at this park during the spring and summer go quickly. If you don't like camping we are working on the hotel group rate.
MEET: All activities and food will be at the Sunset day use area (across the road from Turkey Roost). Turkey Roost will only be for camping.

SHIRTS: In order to have shirts available to us at the meet, we do need your registration info and payment by March 8th. Please contact me if you have any questions or need to make alternate arrangements. **Note if you need a shirt size larger than XL it will be $5 extra. ***
ACTIVITIES: There will be games, drawings for prizes, a raffle, a silent auction, and truck related competitions. Bring some extra cash for raffle tickets and auction items. (The games will be hosted by the Ghetto Blvd Crew. They will be family friendly games.)
FOOD: We are going to be doing it a bit different this year. We will NOT be doing the Friday caravan to a restaurant. Friday dinner will be at the camp grounds, you will have a choice between Chicken or pork butt, sides will be macaroni salad and beans. We will eat all the meals at the sunset ground across the road from Turkey Roost. Saturday Breakfast is on your own. Lunch we will have hotdogs and chips. Dinner will be brisket, potato salad and beans. There are 2 charcoal BBQ pits in the Turkey Roost area if you are wanting to cook anything. You will get the tickets for Saturdays meals. (one ticket per plate). The registration fee includes meals for 2 people over 10 years old. If over 10 it is $10 for the whole weekend.
RULES ARE VERY SIMPLE (some are park rules): No glass bottles, no open fires except in the fire pit (Bell County isn’t currently under a burn ban as of this writing but we will have to see as March draws closer), NO DRUGS, no fireworks, and please clean up behind yourself and kids. Pets are allowed but are required to be on a leash at all times and you will need to clean up after them as well. Since this is a family event, PLEASE WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE.
Please let me know how many kids and adults will be coming with you as well as the kids ages. If we have enough we will try to have some age appropriate games.
