About Us
General application guide for spacers regarding trimming studs: 1" will work on all Toyota's without cutting the factory studs, stock or aftermarket wheels 1.25" will work on all Nissan's without cutting the factory studs, stock or aftermarket wheels. 1.75" will work on all Chevy, Ford, Dodge 1500's without cutting the factory studs on all stock and aftermarket wheels 2" will work on all Chevy, Ford, Dodge 8 Lug application without cutting studs on all factory and stock wheels HOWEVER, if your OEM or aftermarket wheels have "pockets" in the mounting pad, you may be able to use thinner spacers than above as the studs will poke through the spacer but sit in the "pockets" on the pads of the wheels. To know 100% simply measure exactly how far the stock studs stick out, measure how deep the pockets are on the mounting pad of the wheels and add them, that is the thickness spacer you may run. So 1" studs plus 1/2" pockets means 1.75" spacers or larger will work and 1.5" spacers will be cutting it close. Since 1996, Motorsport Tech’s Adapters and Spacers have been designed, built, tested, and proven in the toughest conditions on Earth - We’ve outfitted vehicles in the US Military for combat duty, desert racing pre-runners, Arctic rescue vehicles, major auto companies including Ford, Chrysler, and Goodyear, and have built parts for thousands of hardcore off-road enthusiasts around the world - including our own vehicles we drive daily. With our experience and acquired knowledge over the last 15 years, along with a recent expansion of our in-house production facility, we thought it was time to introduce a new 4x4 specific line: BORA. BORA stands for Bulletproof Off Road Adapters. And that’s just what they are. BORA adapters will be built to the same exacting standards of all Motorsport Tech parts (Made in the USA with Alcoa aluminum on state of the art American made Haas CNC machines) but now at a lower price! Lug nuts are made of 10.9 grade Steel, not stainless steel. Some of our Closed End lugnuts have a Stainless Steel Cap, but those are really only used to attach an aftermarket wheel the spacers or truck's factory studs. We do not make Stainless Steel Open End Lugnuts, no need for that. The Open End Lugnuts we provide to attach our Adapter/Spacer kits are Cold Forged for increased strength and uniformity, our lug nuts meet or exceed OEM and aftermarket application standards. The Lug Nuts are backed by our ISO, QS and TS16949 Certified Facilities.

  1. Hello guys! I really like your product, but my truck is kinda rare here in the US. It is a 1997 Mitsubishi Montero (LWB, with manual locking hubs) Could you please confirm the bore size of the spacer? Because there are two sizes. 108.1mm and 67.1mm. 108.1 is the bore measurement for my truck, the other one is for newer models. Please check if you have this spacer in stock. Thanks!!

  2. I have a 2016 Ford Explorer xlt 4wd with a 2″ leveling /lift. The bigger tires I installed now rub very slightly when wheels are almost fully turned. Will spacers solve this issue? The don’t rub on the body or wheel well but on a steering (i think) component. If so, what size would I need w/o having to cut the stock studs.?

    • No sir, adding spacers will make it rub much worse! Sounds like you just need to do a little trimming. Spacers on help with rubbing when its on steering components.

  3. Will the Bora spacers fit tightly around the hub? I’ve seen some that have a little play when you dry fit them.

  4. I’m looking at getting a set of your spacers I’m running 305/65/18 leveling kit on the truck can I run 1.5 spacers

  5. HI I have a 2014 F150 with a leveling kit on it I have the stock 18 in rims but have 33 12.5 tires. What size spacers can I get that I wont have to cut anything? Thanks

  6. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram it’s 5×5.5 and was wanting to put 6×135 lug wheels which adapter would I need

  7. I have a 2011 ford f150 and would like to adapt the wheels that came from a 2012 chevy 1500 which is also a 6 lug. What kind spacer would i need?

  8. I have a 2012 ram 2500 4×4 slt crew cab bighorn edition . I’ve recently purchased a set of 37×13.50r20’s m/t with 20″ mayhem arsenal 8104 wheels +18 offset. Now I’m about to buy the Rough Country 5inch suspension lift. What would be the ideal wheel spacers in my case?

  9. Purchased 2 inch spacers for my 2017 silverado 1500 with a 5 inch RC lift kit.. the lifted knuckles pushed the front track put wider than the rear.. the 2 inch should bring them even correct?

    • Yes, 2″ is the most commonly used thickness when fixing the track width issue when lifting a truck!

  10. I have a 1992 land cruiser with the usual 6×5.5, do you make adapters that will change it to 8×170 to fit my fords wheels?

  11. Hi I need help I have a ford f150 2002 I bought some rims think they were universal due to them have 12 holes they don’t fit and wanted to know if I could make them fit

  12. I just ordered the 1.25 spacer for my 2015 Ram. I know I will have to trim my factory studs. Question: if I ever decide to remove the spacer, will I have to replace the factory studs before I can run a regular setup again or will the studs still be long enough to use after being trimmed?

  13. I would like to order 2 in spacers for my 2010 f-150

  14. I have a 2016 Ram with factory 17″ aluminum wheels. What would it take to make the wheels flush with the fender.

    • Its as easy as taking a tape measure and putting a straight edge to the fender and measuring the gap. Keep in mind on most 1/2 ton trucks any spacer under 1.75″ will require your factory studs to be trimmed.

  15. Do you guys ship to Canada or not and would you allow me to pay from Canada and ship to the us I have a cousin in the us so I would save some money on shipping plus he’s coming down in the spring

    • Yes, we ship to Canada, it does cost extra. Please enter your billing address associated with the card, then email us right away with a new shipping address. Any more questions, please email us; info@customoffsets.com

  16. Can I put 1.25″ spacers on my 2016 limited Tundra with stock 275/55/20 A/T??

  17. i have a 14 silverado 1500 with gem replica 22s my truck is stock height can i run these wheel spacers and be okay?

  18. I’m getting a 2017 F250 soon, I’m going to keep the stock wheels and tires for a while but would the 1.25′ spacers work on my truck?

    • Not unless you are willing to trim your factory studs. Anything thinner than 2″ on an HD truck requires stud trimming. Yours actually requires a pinch of stud trimming even with a 2″ spacer.

  19. I have a 2016 F150 Lariat 4×4, I have the 2″ Motofab leveling kit installed and I want to run 35″ BFGs. Any ideas to prevent rubbing?

    • Trimming is the only option when moving up in size. Unfortunately the new F150s have a crash bar that needs to be removed when adding a bigger setup. Adding spacers will actually make it worse because your pushing the tires even further out.

  20. Want the 1.25 bora spacers for my 2016 Tundra d/c 4×4 stock rims.
