About Us
General application guide for spacers regarding trimming studs: 1" will work on all Toyota's without cutting the factory studs, stock or aftermarket wheels 1.25" will work on all Nissan's without cutting the factory studs, stock or aftermarket wheels. 1.75" will work on all Chevy, Ford, Dodge 1500's without cutting the factory studs on all stock and aftermarket wheels 2" will work on all Chevy, Ford, Dodge 8 Lug application without cutting studs on all factory and stock wheels HOWEVER, if your OEM or aftermarket wheels have "pockets" in the mounting pad, you may be able to use thinner spacers than above as the studs will poke through the spacer but sit in the "pockets" on the pads of the wheels. To know 100% simply measure exactly how far the stock studs stick out, measure how deep the pockets are on the mounting pad of the wheels and add them, that is the thickness spacer you may run. So 1" studs plus 1/2" pockets means 1.75" spacers or larger will work and 1.5" spacers will be cutting it close. Since 1996, Motorsport Tech’s Adapters and Spacers have been designed, built, tested, and proven in the toughest conditions on Earth - We’ve outfitted vehicles in the US Military for combat duty, desert racing pre-runners, Arctic rescue vehicles, major auto companies including Ford, Chrysler, and Goodyear, and have built parts for thousands of hardcore off-road enthusiasts around the world - including our own vehicles we drive daily. With our experience and acquired knowledge over the last 15 years, along with a recent expansion of our in-house production facility, we thought it was time to introduce a new 4x4 specific line: BORA. BORA stands for Bulletproof Off Road Adapters. And that’s just what they are. BORA adapters will be built to the same exacting standards of all Motorsport Tech parts (Made in the USA with Alcoa aluminum on state of the art American made Haas CNC machines) but now at a lower price! Lug nuts are made of 10.9 grade Steel, not stainless steel. Some of our Closed End lugnuts have a Stainless Steel Cap, but those are really only used to attach an aftermarket wheel the spacers or truck's factory studs. We do not make Stainless Steel Open End Lugnuts, no need for that. The Open End Lugnuts we provide to attach our Adapter/Spacer kits are Cold Forged for increased strength and uniformity, our lug nuts meet or exceed OEM and aftermarket application standards. The Lug Nuts are backed by our ISO, QS and TS16949 Certified Facilities.

  1. I have a 2003 Ford ranger with a 5 by 4.5 lug pattern and I’m wanting to fit some moto metal buckshot wheels with a 6 lug pattern can I use these as a adapter for it

  2. I have a 2011 f150 with 20×10 -24 offset rims can I run a 1.5in spacer on them or would I have to go 1.75

    • If you have a pocket on the back side of the wheel you might be able to get away with a 1.5″ If not yes, you will need 1.75″ to clear your lug studs.

      • What do you mean a pocket I have the mayhem warriors in 20×10

        • Some wheels have a “pocket” on the backside of the wheel. A hole that the excess stud length can go into. I don’t know off hand if your wheel has one. Might want to check, otherwise run a 1.75″ and you will be fine!

  3. I have set of 17×8 wheels with some nitto 285s on them. if i get a set of 1.5 will i have to do any trimming?

  4. Please fill out this quote sheet and we can get you the correct thickness, https://www.customwheeloffset.com/quote?for=Spacer+or+Adapter

  5. I have a 2006 chevy silverado on a leveling kit with 285 70 17 on 17×9 0 offset. Can I use 1.75 spacer with out cutting my lugs

  6. looking to put a 6 in lift a 2017 f150 king ranch and want to use the oem 20 in wheels which have +44 offset. and use 35 x 12.5 x 20 tires. Before I purchase everything, i would like to know how big a spacer would i need. if you guys could help I would appreciate it. i don’t want to purchase the wrong spacer.

    • Hector, I would recommend 1.75″ or 2″. However, please ensure you confirm the specs from the lift kit for it will likely recommend a certain amount of back spacing (the 1.75-2″ spacer should give you more than enough clearance).

  7. Do offer these for a 5×135 to a 5.5 wheel?

  8. Can these be used on a 1992 ford bronco xlt 4wd?

    • Sure can! I’m not sure on the stud length on the Bronco. You may want to just pull a wheel off quick to make sure they are shorter than an 1.5″ Unless you don’t mind cutting your studs, than you will be fine!

  9. Can I get these made in a 5×4.5 bolt pattern to a 5×5.5 adapter?

  10. Do the stock 18 inch wheels on a 16 x71 have the pockets to allow 1.50 spacers without trimming.

    • Sorry Donald I don’t know off hand. Best advise it to pull it off and look at it. Some stock wheels have it some don’t.

  11. Do you guys make 1.5 inch spacers for a 06 honda ridgeline I have the 2 inch lift with 255 60r 18s just trying to get a Lil more width

    • Yes, just purchase from this link and enter your vehicle info in the drop down and your good to go! Bora will make them to the specs of your vehicle.

  12. I have a 01 jeep grand cherokee. Would a 1.75 be good?
