About Us
General application guide for spacers regarding trimming studs: 1" will work on all Toyota's without cutting the factory studs, stock or aftermarket wheels 1.25" will work on all Nissan's without cutting the factory studs, stock or aftermarket wheels. 1.75" will work on all Chevy, Ford, Dodge 1500's without cutting the factory studs on all stock and aftermarket wheels 2" will work on all Chevy, Ford, Dodge 8 Lug application without cutting studs on all factory and stock wheels HOWEVER, if your OEM or aftermarket wheels have "pockets" in the mounting pad, you may be able to use thinner spacers than above as the studs will poke through the spacer but sit in the "pockets" on the pads of the wheels. To know 100% simply measure exactly how far the stock studs stick out, measure how deep the pockets are on the mounting pad of the wheels and add them, that is the thickness spacer you may run. So 1" studs plus 1/2" pockets means 1.75" spacers or larger will work and 1.5" spacers will be cutting it close. Since 1996, Motorsport Tech’s Adapters and Spacers have been designed, built, tested, and proven in the toughest conditions on Earth - We’ve outfitted vehicles in the US Military for combat duty, desert racing pre-runners, Arctic rescue vehicles, major auto companies including Ford, Chrysler, and Goodyear, and have built parts for thousands of hardcore off-road enthusiasts around the world - including our own vehicles we drive daily. With our experience and acquired knowledge over the last 15 years, along with a recent expansion of our in-house production facility, we thought it was time to introduce a new 4x4 specific line: BORA. BORA stands for Bulletproof Off Road Adapters. And that’s just what they are. BORA adapters will be built to the same exacting standards of all Motorsport Tech parts (Made in the USA with Alcoa aluminum on state of the art American made Haas CNC machines) but now at a lower price! Lug nuts are made of 10.9 grade Steel, not stainless steel. Some of our Closed End lugnuts have a Stainless Steel Cap, but those are really only used to attach an aftermarket wheel the spacers or truck's factory studs. We do not make Stainless Steel Open End Lugnuts, no need for that. The Open End Lugnuts we provide to attach our Adapter/Spacer kits are Cold Forged for increased strength and uniformity, our lug nuts meet or exceed OEM and aftermarket application standards. The Lug Nuts are backed by our ISO, QS and TS16949 Certified Facilities.

  1. will these work on a 1984 bronco? i don’t have the luxury of auto locking hubs so will there be any problems with fitment of wheels and switching to 4×4?

  2. hey guys! I have a 2016 chevy Colorado diesel, and since I have not seen many spacers that will work with my pickup… will these work? Thanks!

    • Ralph I’m not sure exactly what you mean by will it “work”, could mean two things. They will definitely “work” on the hub! Each order is machined specifically for the vehicle you enter in the drop downs. They’re all “made to order” so they will fit perfectly!

As far as “working” on the truck itself that would be determined by suspension setup, size of wheel and tire and how much clearance you have.

  3. will i have to modify my studs with the 2in spacer? i have a 20 nissan titan

  4. What is the equivalent of a -12 offset for a spacer

  5. Does it really take 15-20 days for shipping?

    • Do to the custom nature, quality and demand they do indeed take the full 15-20 business days to produce.

  6. Is there specific specs for towing and payload? I want to go with the 2 inch spaces on my 2016 screw 4×4, curious if these add limitations or any changes to how I haul and tow? thank you

    • If you’re towing fairly heavy loads we recommend the steel spacers. If its like a boat or smaller enclosed trailer the aluminum will be fine. Sorry but the manufacture doesn’t list exact tow capacity.

  7. Hi. Im looking into the 2” spacer. Simply because from what i was told. Anything shorter would require cutting. Im currently in a 2016 f150 xl ext cab 2.7L. I have a 2” level and 33×9 nitto trail grapplers. 20” rims. Would they rub

  8. Can they fit a 2015 Ford F-150 with a 4 inch fox suspension lift and 20×9 XD wheels willl they fit? Haven’t measured the size of my tired

  9. I have a 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 6” fabtech lift and 20X10 ultra Motorsports on 35 “ tires would I have to do any trimming to make these spacers fit ?

    • You will for sure need trimming. You’re already about as aggressive as you can go on the setup you currently have. You will more than likely have major metal trimming adding 2″ spacers.

  10. Do you guys make 2 inch spacers for a 1979 ford f100

  11. Would these work on my 2001 f150 with xd spys? Thanks!

    • They are machined to the specific vehicle you enter in the drop downs. Your wheel will fit the spacers just like they do on your stock hubs.

  12. If I have my factory 17 rims will the hub centre on the spacer work on them?

  13. i have a 2009 chevy silverado with a 2.5 inch level kit and a 1.25 body lift
i have xd riots 20×10 -24 offset with ditto ridge grapplers 33 12.5 r 20 i have already trimmed enough to where i don’t rub at all even in reverse so if i add a 2″ spacer to my chevy will i have to lift higher or trim more ? thanks

    • You wouldn’t need to do one or the other. Either way you need 2″ more of clearance to run 2″ spacers. They literally push you wheels out 2″ more.

  14. how do the 5 and 6 lug fit all models? so then will they fit on my 2001 f150?

    • They are just listed in the store together because the retail prices are the same for 5 and 6 lug. They will be built to the vehicle you enter in the drop downs!

  15. I’m having a hard time finding spacers that will for a 2017 ram promaster 2500 single rear wheel. The lug pattern is 5×130 and 76.1 hub. Will these spacers work for the lug pattern on my van?

    • Yes sir! Just simply select year, make and model in the drop downs and they will be machined to the exact specs of your vehicle!

  16. How much offset will these give?

    • It won’t change your offset, it just pushes your wheels and tires out 2″ farther than they sit now. So for example if they are flush with your fender they will stick out 2″ past the fender with 2″ spacers.

  17. how would this fit on the back wheels if i have drum brakes on a 2000 chevy tahoe z71 4×4 and since i have a bulldog effect?

  18. Hey I have a small 1997 Nissan Pickup 4×4 Xe. I was wondering if these 2in spacers would work fine without any issues?

    • Other than making your setup to aggressive for your truck, they will cause zero issues! Just make sure you have 2″ of clearance to allow 2″ spacers and you should be good!

  19. i have a 2018 4×4 ram 1500 night and thinking about putting a 2″ spacers on. will i have any problem with it using the stock tires and wheels? thanks

  20. DO YOu guys make wheel spacers for a 1995 c1500 Chevy Silverado 2wd rwd

    • They can be made to any configuration! Simply choose your thickness and fill in the drop downs with your vehicle info and you’re good to go!

  21. I have a 2007 chevy Silverado 1500, will the bora 2″ spacers fit my truck? just wanted to make sure before I buy them

  22. Please fill this quote sheet so I have more info https://www.customwheeloffset.com/quote?for=Spacer+or+Adapter Include wheel specs and lift size in the details.

  23. I would probably stick with a 3″ spacer and at least level the truck. Jumping to 10 wide wheels and 3″ spacers will be pretty aggressive so depending on you changing tire size you may need trimming. I would probably throw on a leveling to start.

  24. Could you please fill out this quote sheet so we can better assist you https://www.customwheeloffset.com/quote?for=Spacer+or+Adapter Please include actual tire sizes in metric size if that’s what is listed on the side wall.

  25. Please fill out this quote sheet with wheel size and we will be glad to help out! https://www.customwheeloffset.com/quote?for=Spacer+or+Adapter

  26. Please fill out this quote sheet with the information above and also including suspension details. https://www.customwheeloffset.com/quote?for=Spacer+or+Adapter

  27. Yes, 2″ more! Jumping to a 2″ spacer will make it rub a great deal more. If you don’t want anymore rubbing and don’t want to trim, I would stay away from spacers all together.

  28. And where would I go to order it? I want 1 for each wheel so a total or 4

  29. We just made an ad for those! Just need to add your info in the drop downs and your good to go! https://www.customwheeloffset.com/custom-offsets-store/7928/2-bora-spacers-set-4-7-lug-all-makes-and-models

  30. Of*

  31. No trimming needed on studs when you run a 1.75″ or thicker spacer.

  32. It would sit 1.75″ outside the fender if your flush now. You shouldn’t have any trimming to do. Spacers will literally push the tire out to the thickness of the spacer you order. No crazy math involved.

  33. I replied to your email Jayson.

  34. You are probably seeing the steel ones? One set is made of aluminum and on set is made of steel.

  35. It will literally stick out 2″ more then they do now. Just take a tape measure and see where 2″ sits. No crazy math involved. As for trimming you don’t need to trim studs on anything 1.75″ and thicker.
