About Us
General application guide for spacers regarding trimming studs: 1" will work on all Toyota's without cutting the factory studs, stock or aftermarket wheels 1.25" will work on all Nissan's without cutting the factory studs, stock or aftermarket wheels. 1.75" will work on all Chevy, Ford, Dodge 1500's without cutting the factory studs on all stock and aftermarket wheels 2" will work on all Chevy, Ford, Dodge 8 Lug application without cutting studs on all factory and stock wheels HOWEVER, if your OEM or aftermarket wheels have "pockets" in the mounting pad, you may be able to use thinner spacers than above as the studs will poke through the spacer but sit in the "pockets" on the pads of the wheels. To know 100% simply measure exactly how far the stock studs stick out, measure how deep the pockets are on the mounting pad of the wheels and add them, that is the thickness spacer you may run. So 1" studs plus 1/2" pockets means 1.75" spacers or larger will work and 1.5" spacers will be cutting it close. Since 1996, Motorsport Tech’s Adapters and Spacers have been designed, built, tested, and proven in the toughest conditions on Earth - We’ve outfitted vehicles in the US Military for combat duty, desert racing pre-runners, Arctic rescue vehicles, major auto companies including Ford, Chrysler, and Goodyear, and have built parts for thousands of hardcore off-road enthusiasts around the world - including our own vehicles we drive daily. With our experience and acquired knowledge over the last 15 years, along with a recent expansion of our in-house production facility, we thought it was time to introduce a new 4x4 specific line: BORA. BORA stands for Bulletproof Off Road Adapters. And that’s just what they are. BORA adapters will be built to the same exacting standards of all Motorsport Tech parts (Made in the USA with Alcoa aluminum on state of the art American made Haas CNC machines) but now at a lower price! Lug nuts are made of 10.9 grade Steel, not stainless steel. Some of our Closed End lugnuts have a Stainless Steel Cap, but those are really only used to attach an aftermarket wheel the spacers or truck's factory studs. We do not make Stainless Steel Open End Lugnuts, no need for that. The Open End Lugnuts we provide to attach our Adapter/Spacer kits are Cold Forged for increased strength and uniformity, our lug nuts meet or exceed OEM and aftermarket application standards. The Lug Nuts are backed by our ISO, QS and TS16949 Certified Facilities.

  1. I have a 2015 F250 3.5″ Ready Lift SST with 37×12.50×20 Toyo RT’s looking to get rid of the rubbing on the Radius arms and Sway bar. Hoping this 2″ kit will do the trick and not create another issue.

  2. I’ve got a 99 F250 with factory 16 in wheels on it and I have a set of factory 18 in wheels off a 2011 F250, but wheels rub all the time. Found out that axle spacing was shorten in 05 by 2 inches. So would these 2 in spacers be what I need to run these wheels?

  3. I have a 2011 Chevy 2500 with the 5 inch Zone lift. I was wondering if it was possible to use the factory aluminum 17 inch wheels (+44 offset) with a spacer and if so how large a spacer would be needed. I don’t want to have to get into trimming wheel studs as I am looking for a quick bolt on / bolt off option to keep my chrome Hostile wheels out of the salt and snow during the winter.

    • I would go with the the above spacers. You can get away with thinner if you have a pocket on the back side of the wheel to tuck the excesses stud length in. Might have to do some checking and a couple measurements if you want to go thinner.

  4. have 2014 ram 2500 will be running hostile 22×14’s once they come in, will i need to buy hub centric ring to go with the spacers?

  5. I have a 2016 f 350 with a 3.5 inch leveling kit. I’m trying to run 35×12.50×24 will I currently have 35×12.50×22 , but with the 2 inch spacer it may not be be able to turn the wheels fully. Can you shed some light.?? Looking into bora adapters . From 8×170 to 6×5.5

  6. What lug nuts would I need to go with these. Thanks

    • Lug nuts are provided to attach the spacer to the hub and you would use the lug nuts you already have to attach the wheel to the spacer.

  7. Will this 2″ spacer run well with the 20″ Laramie rim and a 295/65 Ridge Grappler on a 2014 Ram 2500?

  8. i have a leveled 2010 dodge cummins. would these fit behind a set of 22x12s -44mm offset on 33×12.50s without rubbung

  9. I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD with a 3″ zone adventure series lift on 298/70/R18 MTP with a XD Monster @ 18×10 with a +18 offset. Can I fit a 2″ spacer with minimal rub

  10. Looking for a 2in spacer that’s a 8lug 6.5 to a 8lug 180 bolt pattern.

  11. on the spacers for a 2011 ram 2500. are the studs on the spacers the same thread count and size as the stock ones? I have 9/16-18 lug nuts.

  12. Are these hub centric?

  13. can you make 3″ spacers for 8 lug trucks?

  14. I’ve heard that spacers are a bad idea if you were to do burnouts and or donuts, is that true. I’ve got an 04 f350 with the 6.0, it’s got a decent amount of power and the tires spin often. I also tend to tow heavy loads over long distances. Would spacers be a good choice or should I just get wheels with the correct offset and backspacing, my goal is to have the edge of the tire sticking out a couple inches.

    • We have folks that drift race, rock climb, haul and tow with BORA spacers. These spacers are stronger than most wheels. That being said, there are advantages to getting the look of a deeper wheel. Ultimately the decision is yours but either is a great option and the horror stories are not from BORA spacers they are from low cost, low quality spacers sold else where. We only offer the best, BORA!

  15. Do you make spacers to go from gm 8×180 to gm 8×165 bolt pattern
