1994-2002 Dodge RAM 2500 Wheel, Tire & Suspension Fitment Guide
Welcome back, everyone! Today, we're taking you through a quick fitment guide for the second generation of the Dodge RAM 2500, released between the 1994 and 2002 model years in North America. Commonly referred to as a second-gen Cummins as well (thanks to the heavy-duty engine under the hood), this RAM 2500 model rocketed the heavy-duty lineup into the forefront, and it remains popular with many drivers today on the back of its workmanlike attitude, longevity, and customizability.
Come check out what the RAM 2500 offers below - you'll see the best fitments available for the model whether you want to ride it stock, on a leveling kit, or on some bigger lift kits that can turn heads at the show. Let's jump in!

First things first, the specs. The second-gen RAM 2500 comes with a standard 8x6.5-inch bolt pattern, so that's the first thing you should be looking at when you're starting your build. If you are any other size, you'll end up needing a wheel adapter to get everything to fit, so it's just easier to get your wheels in the correct bolt pattern to begin with.
For most RAM 2500 build types, you can get away with wrapping 20-inch wheels up in either 33 or 35-inch tires, and you've got plenty of options when it comes to designs, build types, finishes, and brands. Try to keep your wheel widths between 9 and 12 inches wide as well to avoid any rubbing or scrubbing issues - we would mention, though, that if rubbing isn't a problem for you, you'll still have to do some trimming around the RAM's body to get everything fitting right.
