About The TIS 549B

TIS Wheels, also known as TIS Offroad, is one of the most recognizable brands in the aftermarket wheel industry due to their wild popularity. Their name stands for Twenty Inches Strong because 20 inch wheels were about as big as they got when the company was formed. Now that 20 inch wheels are fairly common, TIS has done a great job creating larger wheels and innovative models like the TIS 549B.

What Makes the TIS 549B So Good?

The TIS 549B is an eight spoke wheel design featuring split spokes creating two alternating windows throughout the entire face of the wheel. It is a one piece wheel made from aluminum alloy with deep lip options.

What Makes the TIS 549B Special?

The tiny details in the 549B's design come together to create a wheel that gets more and more intricate the longer you look. Each of the eight split spokes includes a small step down that connects the adjacent prong. There is also a small step down at the center which accentuates the elevated portion of the spoke but also creates another step detail where the cap is inserted.

The center cap itself includes minor step flourishes along the edge as the final ingredient to building in a lot of character to this wheel design thanks to playing with layers.

What Sizes Does the TIS 549B Come In?

This model is made in various sizes between 17 to 20 inches in diameter with wheel widths limited to 9 inches. This satin black wheel has an offset range of -12 offset to +18 offset and they are drilled for 5, 6, and 8 lug bolt patterns.
