I went with these wheels because they are the smallest wheel you can run with the stock Tesla performance brakes and they aren't too heavy. Compared to the uberturbines with smaller tires they are 8 lbs lighter per wheel. That is a massive difference with an electric car. Also with the added sidewall and width I get a lot smoother ride.

I got these in 2022 with the Continental Extremecontacts and they have been spectacular and with Fitment Industries great services they have been working beautifully with just enough space between the spokes to show the Performance Packages big brakes on my VW GTI. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive the correct and great looking lug bolts that my German car needed.

To cut to the chase, these rims will fit perfectly with full clearance front and rear and has not made contact with anything even on some nasty MA roads. To be clear I'm running 225/40/18 Nitto R555 g2 tires on these rims and there is still ample space for a wider and even meatier set. I personally like the profile this combo has from the lip of the rim; gives that slight taper from the bead of the tire to the contact patch around the sidewall. If you're like my you spent a ton of time measure and checking and remeasuring to make sure things were right the first time, rest assured these rims and this combo will run, clear, track, ride, do just about anything you want. Couldn't be happier. Don't forget hub spacers 🫡

Picked up a set of 18x8.5 Konig Ampliforms for my MK7 GTI wrapped in some DWS06+ Contis. The tires were everything I expected coming from the previous DWS tires but the wheels were a bit of a let down. They look great. I want to establish that right off the bat. Konig has quite a few attractive wheels in their FF lineup. Upon initial assembly I was a little concerned the Konig emblem is applied to the center cap via your traditional 3M style peel adhesive. How much does it cost to make this a one piece design and simplify things? This came to fruition about a month after install as I lost one of these adhesive logos somewhere on the road. Very disappointing. FI has been great with solid customer service, this is all on Konig.

This was my first ever aftermarket wheels purchase. I must have checked the fitment over 20 times before actually committing to the purchase, but everything fit perfectly. A nice set of wheels can elevate the look of ANY car by a huge amount, and I am so happy with these. The center caps are easy to apply with the included tool, but you will need tuner style lugs.
